Wordless Wednesday

No need for words...

Awwww... cute!

I just thought this was so cute, I had to post a picture! Drew is such a good big brother! Ilove that kid!

Our new kitten

This is our new cat. Her name is Skyfire, and we call her Sky. Our other cat, Butterscotch, disappeared a couple of weeks ago. We were SOOO sad! But we love Skyfire just as much. She is a kick! She attacks everything that moves, and she espewcially loves to terrorize the goats. Hopefully, she will keep the mice out of the barn.

The day we got her, our cousin, Madi, got a cat that looks just the same! Madi named him Mr. Peaches. Maybe they are cousins, too?

More babies!

Finally! My new desktop is assembled, photo editing software loaded, and I am ready to blog!

Our goats had babies. July 4th, Blue Vanessa had twin girls. We named them Debbie and Lynette, after Grandma's. Then July 23rd Lucille had twin girls. We named them Evelyn and Kit Kittredge. I was surprised Elsa wanted to name hers Kit Kittredge. Her favorite name is Evangeline, and she names absolutely EVERYTHING Evangeline. And the other kids were naming babies after Grandma's... Who can predict the notions of a four year old mind?

Say hi to our new baby goats!

We have to bottle feed them 3 times per day. If you leave them with their mommy and let them nurse off of her they grow up wild. So we separate them to a pen out of sight range of the their mommies and bottle feed them, and they think we are their "family."

Now, anyone who doesn't want to see a birth picture, avert your eyes, because I thought probably all of my nephews would. Nephews, these pics are for you!

Girls camp EVERYTHING part 1, monday

Girls camp was the best time ever.
Girls camp was from July 6- July 10. We would leave monday morning and come back friday at noon.
We were supposed to meet at the stake centeron monday morning at 7 a.m. It was stakewide so there were a lot of girls.
Our camp was at Heber Valley Girls Camp and we had cabins!!! I remember that as we waited for the buses we were SOOOOOO exited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When we got there we went to the ampitheater and they told as the rules and we were asigned to our cabins. They gave us little songbooks that had all the songs that we would sing at girls camp, and a schedule in the back.
On monday, the schedule went like this.
Lunch 12:00-1:00
Make your songbook pouches(mandatory craft) 1:00-1:30
certification at level campfire ring 1:30-3:00
All things bright and beautiful(speaker) 3:00-4:00
chores then free time 4:00-5:30
Dinner 5:30-7:00
skit presentations 7:00-8:00
smores at level camfire ring 8:00-9:00

It was really cool how they had us make our songbook pouches. They had strips of this very thick non-sticky vinyl, and they had us tape it and decorate it with Duct Tape. They had every color. For certification, we had the YCL's go from cabin to cabin and teach the things that they were assigned to. Then for the remaining time, we had skit practice. Each level was assigned to do 2 skits.
The speaker was just telling us how to recognise various plants and animals.
Each cabin was assigned a chore to do each day. When that chore was done, you had free time. You could nap, do that day's craft, shop, eat snacks, or just hang out with your cabin and your friends.
For the meals, we did not have to prepare them. We had Kitchen Ladies and they would make all of our meals. They made REALLY good meals.
For our skit presentations, we were to do them in front of everybody.
That was monday.
I will tell you about Tuesday SOON.

Girls Camp Everything

14 Anniversary Mayhem and Mishap

Hey guys! I don't have much time to post because today is my parents anniversary.
I have just started to make cards that are actually really cute. I can sew on buttons and stitch around the edge of the card with thread and they are cute.
Any way, for their anniversary, they both like the color blue, so I made a blue card.
It is blue with white swirls and dots on the paper. I fold it in half the long way, and then cut it in half the short way. I end up with 2 same size cards. I make one of them smaller then the other. I choose 2 buttons, one blue round and one green flower. I sew them on with thread in the middle of the card. I stitch around the edge, about 1 inch from it. I then glue the other, smaller card in the big card, covering up the knots in the thread. On the inside I write: "Happy Anniversary mom and dad. We love you!"
My dad works today, so yesterday I made them dinner in their room. Hyrum was the waiter and Emma was the waitress. Hyrum really wanted to be from France and have a french accent. Example: "May I take your order? Ze Zpaghetti ees veery good. vould you like anyzing else?" Ha Ha :).
Their menu was
Main Meal Spaghetti with Garlic Alfredo Sauce
Appetizer Salad & Garlic Bread
Beverage Pink Lemonade
Dessert German Chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting & Caramel ice cream.
They very much liked their dinner. I did too.
See you later! Anne
