Junk and Garbage

Nessa had her babies yesterday. We got home from church and she had 2 little baby boys. We wanted girls, but oh well. We are still discussing names right now. Mom and I are adamantly for the names Junk and Garbage. :) Anyway, Emma wants the names white fudge and dark chocolate; Drew wants stonewall and Jackson; Dad wants Sumter and Appomattox; and Caleb wants robot-man and box-man(if you want the full story on those names, let me know through comments). Also, if you would like to suggest names for us, post them through comments,OK?

So I went to Logan last thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday to play with my cousins. While in Logan we had lots of fun and we even experimented in the kitchen a little bit. The cookies were actually quite good! If you like peanut butter... Anyway, on Friday morning my cousins and I made a menu for the rest of the week and than my aunt took us shopping for all of the stuff that we would need. Here's the menu:
Friday
Dinner
-potato salad
-jello salad
-hamburgers
Saturday
Breakfast
-bacon
-sausage
-biscuits
-pancakes
Lunch
-leftovers
Dinner
-fruit salad
-sub sandwiches
Sunday
Breakfast
-donuts!!!...

The cool thing about this menu is that we(my cousins and I) cooked all of the food by ourselves. We had NO HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday morning we went fourwheeling in their yard. I drove one and my 13 year-old cousin drove the other one. It was my 2nd time driving a fourwheller and I was going off jumps and driving fast and everything. All of my younger cousins wanted to ride with me. I wonder why...
I had a ton of fun in Logan, but I also helped them. A lot. Not a LOT A LOT but some.
So about the experiment in cooking that we did, we made peanut butter oatmeal snickerdoodles, and they were SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want the recipe, tell me, I'll post it. Anyway, gotta run!:) :-P

Idle Hands are the Devils Workshop

Hello everyone. Sorry that I didn't post at all in may,we were SUPER busy. Not really. if it's in green, you can't read it, right?:) Anyway, june promises to be really busy too. We've got our rockhouding trip next wednesday and thursday. We're going to go down to Delta area and look for geodes on wednesday and on thursday we'll go to topaz mountain, antelope springs, obsidian hill, and ophir, for pyrite(fools gold).
Topaz mountain- beryl, topaz and garnet. The cool thing is, cut and polished beryl is emerald, and cut and polished garnet will become rubies!!!
Antelope springs- trilobite fossils
Obsidian hill- Apache tears(blue gemstones)

then on friday the 18th and saturday the 19th we will be in Farview(or fairofme, as caleb calls it) with our cousins. Then we have got a lot more stuff planned for the rest of the summer. Oh well, idle hands are the devils workshop as they say...
