Family picture.

Hey everybody! From the post title, you can probably tell that it will be a mostly long picture post.
The other day, we went to the nearest pretty park and were going to take pictures. Turns out... Drew forgot Melody's headband so we had to go back. By then the light was fading so we just stopped at the corner of the highway and got pictures done. All of the pics are above, sorry. Not a lot of words on this post. Let me give you a quick Family update. Drew and I got into the Salt lake children's choir. They are known for REALLY good singing. One of the songs that we are singing now is called Hark Now O Shepherd's. In 1984, the children's choir recorded it with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and it was broadcast all over the world. Last year a couple of them got to be the backup singers for David Archuleta's new album. They have also done the music for a couple of church movies like The Testaments, Joseph Smith, etc. They are Really good. We are also involved in orchestra. Like the choir, this is an AWESOME orchestra. It is called the Timpanogos Chamber Orchestra. TCO for short. We are given 4-5 songs per term, and they are really excellently performed at the end of the term. Drew and I are in the Junoir Orchestra, Drew is in the Cello section, and I am in the 1st violins. I am going to try out for first chair. That will be cool. Hyrum is in the intermediate orchestra in the cello section. The Intermediate Orchestra has only a couple of wongs, but for the ages in the orchestra, they sound quite good. Last of all, today I was made the Beehives Class president. I already have my two counselors and secratary. I think it will be fun. OK, enough words, look at the pictures. Have fun!

OK, I guess it's now or never.

I am going to learn to be an obituary writer through trial and error. Our youngest goat died yesterday. We were picking up our yard and we noticed that Lynnete(Nettie) was panting and not drinking any water. We changed her water and tried to force her to drink the water, but she just either couldn't or wouldn't. Mom told us to bring her to the front porch. We did, and mom handed Maelie to me and told me to take her inside. She said that if Nettie had a disease, she did not want Melody getting it and I don't blame her. Mom tried to feed Nettie a bottle, but she wouldn't take it. She passed away a few minutes after that. That evening, Drew and I went out and dug a nice little grave. We had a little funeral service, and quite a few tears were shed. Myself included. The kids went and picked a whole bunch of flowers(weeds) and spread them over the top of the grave. I know that she is just a goat, but we liked her. Bye

Add water to the roast and chop up the meat. If there is enough potatoes and carrots, then just add the other veggies. Heat until boiling. Add garlic and bouillon. Serve with my mom's good Whole Wheat bread and butter.

Quotable Quotes part 1

You know how Readers Digest has that section, 'Quotable Quotes' well, I decided to copy it. YAY!!! K most of these are Bubbie's, but there are some in here from others.:)
This is my cousin lydia. They were coming to our house in the setting.
They just pulled up in front of a gas station.
Lydia: "Hurry, get out! It's Bubba's house!":)

I was playing house with Bubbie and Elsa. They were the parents and I was the 2 year old daughter. It was raining and I was outside riding my bike.
Bubbie: "Come inside daughter, you'll be sick."
Me: "No way dad."
Bubbie: "Then stay outside."
Me: "Can I go to New York and live in a cardboard box?"
Bubbie: "OK"

Our cousins the Williams were over and we were playing orphanage. Emma and Myra were the Mistresses.
Esther: "Mistress, what would you like me to do for you?"
Emma: "Go and get some bacon and eggs."
Esther: "For us at the breakfast table?"
Emma: " Of course not you dog. They are for the dogs."
Esther: "That means they're for us!"

More later, you goats. I've got to go feed the goats.
