May Birthday's in the Saunders Family

 Mom's Birthday
This year, Mom was turning 41. She got four daisy plants from Dad, and a BRIGHT yellow handmixer from the kids. It's a Kitchen Aid, and there were great reviews. Her dessert was nothing special just gluten free brownies for her, and for the kids there was regular brownies, titled "Brownies these are the Best", they are from our Layton ward's "Recipes Among Friends" cookbook. I will post the recipe at the end. Then after the birthday treat she and Dad went upstairs to watch a movie and they had ice cream as well.
Drew's Birthday
Today is Drew's birthday. He is turning 18. He got some cooking stuff for college. There was a spatula, some cooking spoons, a bowl, a colander, pots and pans, and some mixes. His birthday treat is Peanut Butter Cookie Brownies. You can find the recipe at this link: http://lovelylittlekitchen.com/peanut-butter-cookie-brownies/  They look REALLY good.
Brownies - These are the Best

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

1/4 tsp. salt
